Life & Career

I grew up on Long Island, NY with a passion to draw, tinker, problem solve and play video games — always wondering how things worked and why they weren't better. At 12 years old, I was obsessed with the computer and internet, teaching myself how to program with Visual Basic/C++ and create interface artwork with Photoshop 4.0 during the AOL "Prog" scene.

Throughout high school I was engaged in a half-day graphic design course where I was introduced to bubble-back iMacs and was praised for my abilities with Adobe products — often teaching the class at my teachers request. My work in that class landed me a scholarship to a local school, Briarcliffe College, where I felt under-challenged.

I soon after enrolled in The Art Institute of California - Orange County and was met with amazing professors and a competitive atmosphere.

During and after college I took on many freelance graphic, web, and interface design roles catapulting me onto my career. I've met many great people along the way and continue to grow, working with fantastic employers, colleagues, and clients on unique and interesting projects.

I currently reside in Austin, TX with my lovely wife Annie and my beautiful daughter Indie Rey.
