HVAC Controller usability

Tightening up the usability on an HVAC controller for short-term and long-term stay seems like a straightforward task until you discover some legacy controls and pit them against the Nest's of the world.

We started by doing an audit on known controllers, smart and dumb. We then conducted some user testing to see how they perceive the current layout and their knowledge of other controllers. Ultimately we came down to three variations of controls yo address the same problems found by our research.
